Trends for the Next Generation Mobile Phones
Currently, cloud phones mainly serve as test environments for Android developers. However, we believe they will soon become mainstream, with games and AI apps requiring powerful adapters, GPUs, and memory being hosted on the cloud instead of local devices. This shift will allow users to enjoy a premium experience on affordable mobile phones, as cloud-hosted virtual AI Phones will deliver far superior performance compared to costly local AI phones.
Another trend is that users won’t need to access apps directly—AI agents will handle everything. Apps will offer 'Agent APIs' for AI agents to retrieve, filter, and present data in preferred formats such as text, visuals, audio, or video. In this model, even the mobile phone operating system becomes an AI agent that manages everything for us.
